Stores may not be available during the emergency, so it is necessary to provide food supplies for at least 72 hours.
Potential electrical, gas and water supply disruptions or interruptions should be taken into account when creating product reserves, which may affect the possibilities for cooking.
Stocks must include products that are:
- suitable for storage at room temperature;
- with a long period of validity (at least six months);
- to be prepared without much water and heat treatment, rich and calorie-rich.
Products:
- preserves and preserved products;
- pasta and cereals;
- dry buns;
- instant soups;
- flour;
- oil;
- roots and fruits which, under appropriate conditions, can be stored for a long period of time;
- hard cheese;

- sugar and honey;
- jam;

Remember!
- You must keep track of the expiration date of your products. As it comes to an end, you should use them everyday and buy new ones instead.
- Don't forget infant or other specialty foods as well as pet food.
Cooking
- Assess whether you have the facilities and equipment to prepare food during electrical and/or gas supply disruptions.
- Make sure you have everything you need in time for at least one cooking alternative that best suits the conditions right in your household.
Remember!
In an emergency, you can also cook using an alcohol stove, barbecue, fireplace or fire.
