What do you need to say when calling 112?

Wait to be connected to the Emergency Response Centre.

Prepare to:

  1. state the exact address or describe location or nearby landmarks;
  2. state what happened;
  3. remember everything about the accident and give accurate information and details;
  4. state your name, surname and phone number after the dispatcher’s request;
  5. Important! Do not end the call first!

  • Stay reachable, in case, if the dispatcher needs to contact you again.  
  • Accurate and detailed answers can speed up the assistance.
  • Every question from the dispatcher is important.
